What is ABA?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a professional field that helps people solve socially important problems, both for the individual and for the benefit of society and the culture at large. ABA seeks to establish and strengthen useful skills and positive behaviors.
Behavior Analysts are broadly interested in the science of human behavior and learning. They seek to:

The BACB’s mission is to develop, promote, and implement a voluntary international certification program for behavior analyst practitioners (www.bacb.com). Three credentials are currently available: Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral (BCBA-D®), Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BACB®), and Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA®).
